Penn State

Over the weekend, my family and I went to Penn State for my sister’s graduation! I was pretty excited cause I haven’t been there in a long time.. Also haven’t been anywhere special in a long time so it was a lot of fun!

The bad part was the amount of driving that we had to do! 7 hours there and then we had a hotel 45 outside of Penn State so driving there everyday was a bit annoying. We got there on Friday to the bed and breakfast and then went to pick my sister up to go eat. . And we were all craving a Philly Cheesesteak.. so that’s what we got and it was sooo delicious!! Ahhh I want another one..

We went to a place called Bradley’s in state college!

The next day, we went to Penn State early in the morning cause it was her graduation day and we wanted to go to this breakfast thing with her at 10.. And then we had like 4 hours to kill until the graduation actually started, so she took us to this Arboretum and it was very pretty and calming.

And this was a really awesome building that had this big opening like a sun roof and it was just really pretty!

And this was the bed and breakfast we stayed in! It was a Victorian Mansion and the rooms were really cute and fancy looking. I enjoyed my stay there.. It was kinda weird that we ate breakfast with the other guests there though cause.. I’m not very into small talking with adults, especially in the morning when I don’t want to talk to anyone. haha.

And there was a bunch of Victorian style houses so I took so pictures of them! Here’s just one of them I liked.

This was the town, it was pretty small town.

I thought this was really nice. The town put up these banners of soldiers who served from the town on the lamp posts and they were everywhere and I thought it was really nice

The last stop on the trip was to The Creamery to get some delicious ice cream! It’s some of the best ice cream I’d say. I got the mint chocolate chip. And my mom got the peach paterno and I tried that one and it was really good too !

The mountains there are beautiful too! I snapped this when we were driving back.

My throat hurts so bad! Randomly I got this sore throat and it just always feels so dry and I drank like 60oz of water today and it still feels dry. And I hate how I have to pee every 20 minutes. >_<

And honestly I don’t think that the ice cream helped at all but it tasted good

It probably made it worst actually lol.. oh boy i hope not.. And I have an oral exam for Japanese Monday and how am I going to do it like this?

Anyways, I hope I get better.. going on for day three tomorrow!

Caramel Apples。。

I went home to work over Halloween weekend.. and my mom and I had a lot of fun baking and shopping for stuff

We made caramel apples! We’re no experts…. But they turned out pretty good! I put M&M’s on mine~ I actually think the caramel apples were too sweet and sugary.. Which is weird for me because I LOVE sugar more than anything~ wah.

it was fun hanging out with my mom. I always miss her while I’m at school..

I miss everyone but…I love doing fun things like this with my mom. We both love cooking!

My favorite thing to do ….bake~

Well, one of them besides sitting around on my ass! hehe.

I bake a lot especially during the holidays! I get so in the mood to bake and everything~

Plus it’s a good stress reliever!

Sooo I made these adorable Halloween cupcakes.. I actually had bought sugar cookie mix at first..so I had to go back and get the cake mix. -__- i don’t want to make the sugar cookies lol.

Of course I don’t do anything from scratch…I don’t have time for that lol.

McDonalds ^.^

I made my friend go to McDonalds with me so I could get this Halloween bucket.

ahaha. I’m such a loser… but I saw it on the commercial and had to have it for some reason… now I don’t know what to do with it! 

I do love McDonalds though~

Father’s Day!

Father’s Day …. It was a whole day of craziness.

I kinda went way too overboard with dinner and made so many difficult things.. Nothing turned out like I really wanted it to lol. I spent about 4 hours on this meal and I only made 3 things!

Here is my first fail… 

I wanted to make Melonpan… And I was following the instructions and stuff but I can’t really understand grams and whatnot so I tried converting.. anyways, I somehow ended up with this bread all messed up and it was just terrible bread so I had to make it again..

And then I made these gyoza.. I put potato, corn, and bacon all together in the wrapper and my parents really loved these!

These are some extras.. I had to make the wrappers from scratch since I couldn’t find them in any store… So they aren’t as pretty as the professional ones, but they are good enough (:

I next made a taco pizza… This is the big hunk of dough I used..When I was little, I would always eat the pizza dough… I tried it this time and it tasted so horrible. I don’t know what was wrong with me lol

And here is the remianing pizza cause I failed to get a shot before we ate it alll… 

And this is my finished Melonpan… Obviously not as good as they could have been, but they tasted alright.

I was just happy that my dad enjoyed everything! Afterall.. that’s why I was going through all this craziness!

So here is my finished pudding! 

It doesn’t look as perfect as the one on the box, but tasted veryy very delicious!

Though I’m not too big of a fan of the caramel sauce stuff but it still tasted good all together.  

And I really don’t know why I used a fork. Who eats pudding with forks? 

I didn’t even realize while I was eating it..I realized while I typed this post.

Purin

I got this House Purin mix from an asian market (the same one as the maskssss)  But I decided to make it today!

First we put the mix in with a cup of hot water(or maybe hot milk) and mix~

Then put another 1/2 cup of cool water(or milk) in the mix!

And then put them into little pudding cups~ How cute! And super easy even though I couldn’t really read the instructions but I hope this is the correct way to make it!

And now we wait an hour for it to refrigerate!
